After years of caring for the tiniest and most vulnerable babies, I discovered a love for crafting sourdough and sourdough-based baked goods. When I first began baking, I realized the loaves I held in my hands weighed nearly the same as many of the babies I’ve cradled; most of them even smaller than the 900 gram loaves I bake. The Cradled Crumb was named for that connection.”
