“What’s so special about sourdough? It doesn’t depend on commercial yeast. Instead, it relies on a starter made of flour and water, fermented by wild yeast and lactobacillus bacteria. The process is therapeutic. There's something about the slow, methodical process of feeding and caring for a sourdough starter and baking that can be very calming and meditative. I am obsessed with all-things sourdough. Welcome to The Sourdough Obsession!”
