“Rockabella Pies is a cottage baking operation in Pompano Beach, FL, which means that your pies are truly home-made, from scratch, at home! Back in 2018, Xtina was elbows deep in flour and posting her latest pie creation on social media. With all of her friends salivating over the pictures, she received a call from her bestie, Baby Lindy, suggesting that she begin selling the pies to friends. With a shrug, Xtina reasoned that she would be baking them anyway, so why not ask who would be interested. And... quite a few people were interested! More than a few, in fact. Soon, the orders were too much to handle. Xtina had a poof of flour on her face at all times, and would walk around her kitchen in circles, confused, and trying to remember if she put one or two cups of flour into one thing or another. She needed help, and needed it desperately. Enter—again—Baby Lindy, who showed up with a clipboard and a laptop, and began organizing batch recipes and operationalizing standard operating procedures to keep the pies flowing, and the orders filled. Rockabella built a strong client base of residential and corporate pie lovers in Staten Island & Brooklyn, Ny. Now, Rockabella Pies has flown south, and after it was impossible to find desserts that didn't destroy our health, Rockabella has taken up the mantle of offering desserts that are not only delicious, but filled with nutritious ingredients like grass-fed butter, organic fruit and flour, and lower glycemic options.
