I'm Savanah, the founder and head baker of your local, organic, sourdough bakery specializing in true sourdough breads and bakes made from 100% wild caught yeast. I bake with organic, clean ingredients because it matters. My family loves bread. We were consuming mass produced versions that are made as a product of convenience rather than health from the grocery store in various forms at almost every meal...sandwich bread, tortillas, bagels, crackers... I felt a strong desire to feed my family better. Enter sourdough. I grew my starter from scratch beginning in June of 2022 and have been lovingly tending to her (Doughleene) ever since. I combine organic ingredients and whole foods, allow them to long ferment, and bake them fresh. This homemade sourdough works with our digestive systems to deliver meaningful nutrients into our systems, sitting leaps and bounds nutritionally above what is available to us in the grocery store aisles.
