“Big Raven Bread uses a sliding scale for loaf pricing. The goal is to to make real, fresh bread available to EVERYONE at a realistic price point, while having a positive impact on the community. A sliding scale allows people with different resources to support each other. It simply means those that can pay more, offset those that can't- helping everyone access good, healthy food! So each loaf has a $3 dollar window to choose your price. e.g. a country loaf is $8, $9, or $10 depending on what you can pay. You pick- no questions, no judgement. The additional profits help Big Raven Bread have a greater community impact by being able to donate loaves and/or a portion of profits to local organizations helping those with food insecurities.”
