“Hey lovey! I’m Nyomi 💕 a baker, a Black woman in STEM, and someone who’s happiest in the kitchen covered in a little bit of flour. While studying at Howard University, I started baking for my friends and classmates, and before I knew it, I was running a small business out of my dorm. I graduated in May 2025 with my bachelor’s in Biology. And even though I’m planning to head to med school soon, I’m spending my gap year in Minnesota growing this childhood dream of mine in the midst of studying MCAT physics formulas👩🏿‍🔬Baking has always been my way to slow down and make people smile.
