After 20 years of service as a Sheriff’s Deputy and time in the United States Army , I’m trading the badge for the baking steel right here on Rustic Court. What started as a retiree's passion project has grown into a small-batch microbakery dedicated to serving our Perryville neighbors. The "Mrs. Brennan" Standard Named after our resident black-and-white cat, our bakery is a one-man show focused on the craft of traditional sourdough. We don't use commercial yeast, preservatives, or shortcuts. Every Rustic Court Classic batard and Kneady Neighbor bagel is long-fermented for over 24 hours to develop maximum flavor and better digestibility. How it Works The Drop: I bake in small batches to ensure quality, meaning quantities are limited. The Pickup: All orders are for porch pickup at our Perryville location. (You will receive the address and instructions upon checkout.) The Goods: From our foundational white artisan loaves to our specialty sourdough bagels, to our cookies, everything is sourdough based and baked to order just for you.
