“Hi, I’m Marisa — the hands and heart behind Kneady by Nature a licensed cottage bakery in Park Ridge, IL. My love for sourdough began back in 2020, after a trip to visit my brother in San Francisco, the home of legendary sourdough. Inspired by the city’s tangy, golden loaves, I came home determined to create my own starter from scratch — and I’ve been kneading, baking, and learning ever since. At Kneady by Nature, every loaf and cookie is made with intention — using organic ingredients whenever possible, traditional techniques, and a whole lot of love. My goal is to bring the warmth of home baking to my community, one loaf (or cookie!) at a time.”
