“My name is Brad Taylor. I am the Bearded Baker serving the Ellettsville and Bloomington communities of Southern Indiana. I’ve always loved cooking and baking using whole, natural ingredients. I began baking with a natural leaven in January of 2020. Since then I have worked on sourcing local and organic ingredients and learning as much as I can about old world, traditional baking methods and practices. I started, like many, baking a loaf of bread occasionally for our family. Currently I am baking nearly 50 loaves of sourdough bread weekly for our local farmers market, in addition to other rotating sourdough baked goods. I bake using organic, unenriched, unbleached flour for the flavor and health benefits. My goal is to provide a legitimate, delicious, healthy product for my community. New and seasonal items being added.”
