There's always a free tier to list your porch, and browsing is free. You pay the seller direct — Venmo, cash, whatever they take. Paid tools may come later for sellers who want more reach, but the basic listing stays free.

We're nationwide, but coverage is denser in some areas than others. If your area is thin, the map shows you that honestly, and you can help by telling us about a porch you know.

Porch pages are owner-managed and accountable — a wrong detail gets a correction email, and neighbors can report anything off. Kid stands have stronger defaults — first names only, no kid-face photos unless a parent opts in, and the exact pickup address stays hidden until just before opening.

Marketplace is anonymous and runs on DMs. The Front Porch is a curated directory of one specific thing — homemade goods from porches near you — and each shop has real hours, items, and contact info.

Most states have a cottage food law that lets you sell low-volume homemade food without a commercial kitchen. We don't verify permits — you're responsible for following your state's rules. Look up your state's cottage food law to see what's allowed where you live.

If we already built a page for your porch from public Instagram, you'll see a Claim button on the listing. Verify ownership with the email associated with the shop, then edit photos, hours, and items from your dashboard.
